Great New England seafood. We enjoyed steamers & whole belly fried clams. Steamers were good, served with piping hot water for rinsing and melted butter. Fried clams were excellent - sweet and served with a good tartar sauce and 2 sides. We had fries and onion rings which were good. Got an extra side of cole slaw which was sweet & juicy, the way we like it. We didn't get the clam chowder, but the tables near us were served with giant crocks for the bowl and smaller crocks for the cup. The cup would be plenty if ordering a lunch or dinner, too. The huge crock looked like a meal on its' own. The waitress we had was exceptional (friendly & efficient). The only negative impression we had was of the inside of the restaurant, which could use a good makeover or at least a major cleaning. It was busy, after 4:00 pm, (but it was a Sat), so apparently people are there for the food, not the atmosphere. We would return for the food and service, if in the area, as good New England seafood is hard to come by.

Best chowder around! The amount of food as compared with pricing makes this a "go to" place for us ... and don't forget the onion rings!
Always amazing! Great food, awesome service. Everyone in our group is always happy we love the fried clams. We are from Boston so we absolutely love this place! When I'm missing home this is where I come.
The food was really good. The lobster bisque is one of the best ones I've had ever! The fish and chips were okay.
Got to meet up with some friends for lunch at a place we both had on our radar, Boston's Fish House in New Smyrna Beach. The vibe is New England and the food definitely reflects that part of the country. We did an order of Ipswich Whole Clams while a couple of us decided on the Lobstah Rolls with onion rings and a cup of Chowdah!!! Food...excellent. The chowder was thick, rich, and creamy just like home. We had not ordered chowder initially until we saw a cup delivered to another table. The lobster rolls were loaded with tender claw and tail meat, just the right amount of mayo, and more importantly on a Nissen grilled bun. Also tried the clams...great flavor and the bellies were full of Ipswich goodness...LOL. Overall you felt like you were back in New England enjoying seafood in a small coastal shanty. Our server Susannah took excellent care of us and didn't bother us while we chatted and caught up well after the plates were cleared.
